At home in the world
Year2025
EmployerClarify

People move across borders for many different reasons - some for work or opportunity, others for family or safety. Thanks to UN data, you can now explore global migration flows through our interactive globe.

At Clarify we wondered: how can we bring this UN data to life? The result: an interactive globe that visually illustrates global migration flows.

The arcs represent the difference in numbers for each migration flow between two selected years. The color, thickness, and animation speed indicate the size of the flow. Filters allow you to zoom in on specific aspects such as gender, a particular country, or the scale of migration. To explore correlations, you can also add additional layers, such as poverty, armed conflict, or income inequality.
